Emily M. Walters is a Partner and Co-Founder of Dave Aronberg Law.
Ms. Walters has over 12 years of trial experience in both state and federal court, most recently as an Assistant United States Attorney for the South District of Florida. During her tenure, Ms. Walters litigated a diverse range of cases, including white-collar offenses, violent crimes, immigration violations, firearms and narcotics offenses, and authored appellate briefs. Working collaboratively with the FBI, DEA, Secret Service and other federal and local partners, Ms. Walters built a reputation as a no-nonsense litigator who would fight for justice.
Ms. Walters began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Palm Beach County, where she was widely recognized as a top litigator in the office, ultimately being assigned to the prestigious Organized Crime Unit. Within that role, Ms. Walters managed a substantial caseload encompassing homicide, sexual assaults, organized crime, gang-related investigations, and complex predatory racketeering syndicates. Ms. Walters brings over a decade of courtroom experience to Dave Aronberg Law having tried over 70 cases to verdict in both State and Federal Court.

Ms. Walters’s tenacity for justice has caused her to be featured on national television programs, but most notably for her aggressive prosecution of a 2019 homicide where a suspect was accused of murdering and then dismembering his father.
Ms. Walters is admitted to practice law in Florida, Texas, and Michigan. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 2012 from the George Washington University Law School, where she was the Vice President of the prestigious Moot Court Board.
Ms. Walters is a proud Wolverine and graduate of University of Michigan, where she obtained her B.A. with a major in Psychology and minor in Crime and Justice.
She is an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar.
